AirAsia Academy, formerly known as Redbeat Academy, has partnered with the Malaysian Red Cross and Red Crescent (MRCS) to launch a volunteer crowdsourcing web application.
Entitled MySukarela, the MRCS platform is designed to integrate and coordinate all volunteering efforts in Malaysia to help the volunteering process to be easier and more efficient.
The AirAsia Academy on Sunday signed a memorandum of understanding with the Malaysian Red Cross and Red Crescent.
Tuan Haji Hakim bin Haji Hamzah, Honorary Secretary General of Malaysian Red Cross and Red Crescent, said: “We are delighted to partner with AirAsia’s online education platform, one established brands and make the volunteer registration process seamless and hassle-free. This follows the success of MyVac which saw 320,000 volunteers registered on the platform. We are convinced that AirAsia Academy is the right choice as a provider of training services for our volunteers.
