KYW Newsradio in Philadelphia has announced Kristina Koppeser, known as “Luca,” as the station’s new chief brand officer and chief digital content officer.

The station also named Tom Rickert as deputy chief brand officer and podcasting director.

I am honored to help write the next chapter of KYW Newsradio and to continue to serve the greater Philadelphia area with the top-notch local news that matters most.

Koppeser joined KYW in 2021 as Digital Managing Editor. She has over a decade of experience in the digital space. Koppeser replaces Alex Silverman, who left the station in July to become news and programming director for KNX News in Los Angeles.

Rickert has worked at the station since 2011 and was named director of podcasting in 2021.
